Treasures of the East (Craiova)
Destinations, tastes and ideas in Southeastern Europe — under one roof. Two and a half days of festival-showroom: award-winning wines, cheeses and craft beers, authentic tastes and dream destinations in Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova — for the public and for professionals. "Treasures of the East" 2026 is a festival-showroom of destinations, tastes — wines and other quality drinks, typical food products — Eastern European ideas and experiences, organized for the second consecutive year at Ramada Plaza Hotel Craiova, within the project "Craiova, Eastern European gastronomic capital". Exhibitors from Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova participate, and the event enjoys the partnership of one of the oldest large agricultural companies in the world with a history of over two centuries — Corteva Agriscience. The festival has a double addressability: to the consumer audience — and, especially, to the professionals in tourism, Horeca and the trade of wines, cheeses, craft beers and other typical products from the three countries.

Balmos Festival
The Cultural Association "Din Zestrea Ardealului" in partnership with the Cultural and Arts Center Lăzarea City Hall and the Local Council of Corbu commune, organizes the Balmoș Festival, an event dedicated to promoting one of the most beloved Romanian traditional dishes. Balmosul, the specific preparation of animal breeders in the mountain area, will be brought before the public in an event that aims to strengthen the gastronomic identity of the commune. Made of jintuiala or milk, corn flour, butter, cheese and cream, the preparation has been passed down from generation to generation, preserving the authentic taste of tradition.
