Pântru Mândra din Botiza

A parade of the most beautiful folk costumes, the whole event standing under the sign of tradition and the capitalization of the authenticity of the Iza Valley. The festival "For the proud woman of Botiza" is the opportunity to get to know the traditional music and customs of Maramureș and to witness the parade of the folk costume. The event takes place over two days and includes folk performances with the participation of bands from different localities. Tourists can enjoy competitions organized by locals such as rope pulling of lads, ""The most authentic and beautiful folk costume "" and of course the most awaited of them ""The proudest girl in Botiza"". The festival takes place in the place called "La Bai", where an outdoor stage is set up, and in the evening an impressive campfire is lit.

Preserves the traditional cultural and clothing identity of the Iza Valley.
