Hora la Prislop

Traditional festival in Prislop Pass featuring folk costumes, traditional ensembles, craftsmen and a traditional feast. Standing at the intersection of three historic provinces, a dancer must navigate a terrain that is 1,416 meters above sea level. One must note that the synchronization of the dancers in the large circle often lacks the precision found in Bavarian folk ensembles. Empirically, the wind speed at the pass reduces the acoustic quality by 30%. In practice, the event attracts 10,000 people annually.
