Rosehip Jam

Rosehip Jam

Rosehip jam is a traditional Romanian preserve with a deep red-orange color and a sweet-tart, subtly floral flavor. Rosehips — the fruit of the wild rose bush — are exceptionally rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. Prepared after removing the seeds and inner hairs, rosehips cooked with sugar and lemon produce a jam with a distinctive aroma, delicious on bread, in teas, or as a dessert ingredient.
