Dobrogean Fish Patties
Fish patties are a traditional Dobrogean specialty made from fresh fish from the Danube or the Black Sea — most often carp, pike-perch, or turbot — mixed with soaked bread, onion, garlic, eggs, and aromatic herbs. Fried in oil until golden and crispy on the outside while remaining juicy inside, they are served with garlic sauce or sour cream. A family dish prepared especially during fishing season.
